Gear ratio can openers
Some hand can openers require notable effort to operate; thinking seniors a near effortless version could simply have an extra gear and a gear ratio 2:1 so that half the effort was needed to open a can. | |
It is possible that people in the developing world do not have electric can openers. Putting an extra gear on a hand can opener with a gear ratio of 2:1 would make opening cans almost effortless which could also be good for seniors.
