Treats like these could be sold from a stand or small café. With a special tool to take out the core or pit,
fruits such as plum, pear, peach and nectarine could also stuffed with cold desserts. Instead of a cup or cone, an open fruit could be filled with a smoothie, pudding or ice creams.

This reminds me of a news article I read about
carbonated fruit. The idea was to inject carbon dioxide
into fruit to make them 'fizzy' and therefore more
interesting for kids. |

Vodka filled water melon was a quite popular party treat at Aberdeen University a few years ago. I suppose that you could substitute custard, or chicken soup or somethig else. Might not be quite so popular though.
Then again, if you substituted jelly (Jell-O) you'd have a funky snack that doesn't fall on the floor.

Emeril did the vodka watermelon ("Happy Watermelon") bit a week or two ago on the Food Network. He dumped vodka into the melon, and refrigerated it, then scooped all the flesh into a blender where he added frozen pineapple chunks, more vodka, and some spices. |
