Fiddler Crab Earthmover

An earthmover with JCB-like capabilities, that looks like a gigantic Fiddler Crab.

The right "pincer" is the long-reach backhoe. The left is the "shovel".

The machine has a body on the form of a flattened ovoid, and moves on eight hydraulically powered and articulated legs mounted underneath.

       That would be wise; they'll never buy the idea unless they've recently consumed a substantial amount of psychotropic chemicals.   

       One of the ergot derivatives would be most appropriate, as they're likely to be seeing gigantic bright yellow mechanical crabs anyway (amongst other things).
