Same idea - only down a bobsled track. Can't see how this would involve any skill, but I recon much enjoyment could be had heaving lumps of granite down an icey slide.

       Yes, and perhaps we could have ice hockey down the bobsled track, speed skating on the piste, luge on the ice rink, figure skating on a frozen bird-bath... Can we stop with the mixing winter sports thing now?   

       Saying that, I'd love to know how the sweepers would cope with getting the thing round the corners.

       Add a simple remote control to the curling stones, to add an element of skill. I'm not sure how you can control the path of a circular stone, but you could try.

       Put a gyroscope in the stone. If you couldn't exactly steer it, you could influence its direction.
