Euro Monuments

 Build the monuments depicted on the Euro bills

The new Euro bills ('notes' for Brits) have designs of European-style architecture: bridges, windows, doors, and arches.

In order to avoid favoritism, they had non-existant ones drawn. The ones you see on the bills aren't anywhere.

Pity the poor American tourist who wants to see them.

But wait! You *can* visit them! They're in Finland! Of course!

Imagine this: Finland, known as the 'boonies of Europe' has constructed all of the monuments depicted on the Euro bills.

For the aquaduct, they hired real Romans (from Rome) to work on it!

"Who built the Great Aquaduct of Turku?"

"Why, the Romans did, of course!"

That free labor zone was finally good for something!

And since Finland built them first, any country who tries to do so will just be making cheap imitations of the originals.

       The structures on the notes are more expressions of architecture periods in Europe, rather than a celebration of a particular monument.   

       They might start to build these, but will they ever Finnish?

       Apparently (the Paris correspondent in the newspaper collects euro coins) Finnish euro coins are almost impossible to get hold of, so this idea just confirms that the Finns secretly run the whole thing and are using the Belgians as scapegoats in their plan to take over the world using subsidised mutant GM-triffids.
