Emergency Lever for Paper Shredder

"Oh Dear, I seem to be about to die."

In my brother's broken down car, he calls the handbrake the "Oh Shit" lever. That's because in any sort of high-speed emergency, it is easy to find that rather large handle and pull it like it's going to suddenly make the car fly out of danger.

Say your tie/hair/sleeve gets caught in a paper shredder. When faced with imminent bodily shredding, you're not going to want read every button and see which one says "cancel." You're going to shout out "OHSHIT!" and start slapping buttons, most likely the one labeled "shred faster and with the sound of a rusty chainsaw."

With a cancel lever, even the most easily frightened person will figure out that the giant, black and yellow striped lever with "cancel" in white letters on it is a good bet.
