Wicked idea. But isn't ink poison? Food colouring pens are needed methinks. |
Now that's a truly wicked idea. You could actually kill people with these things - but only
the sort of people who really need killing. And in addition to different coloured inks, they
could contain poisons that bring death in a variety of different ways. Say, paralysis leading
to suffocation, some sort of appalling rigor, or maybe terrible diarrhoea and vomiting
ending in dehydration. Forgive me - you don't work h |
Nice enviro-friendly idea. One problem though - many, many people are sensitive to food coloring, which is found in increasing amounts in everything we eat :(
Hmm... maybe _black_ notes laced with ............ for people you don't like AND are dumb enough to still eat the note? |
Rice-paper Post-It® notes, coloured yellow with yellow dye extraced from onion skins. |
What would be the most edible ink or pencil? You could probably make a pretty good pen which delivered blackcurrant or blackberry juice, but it might be messy and might clog the workings of my nice Mont Blanc. |
And what about an edible glue? As far as I know the original 3M tacky glue is a fairly sophisticated product and it might be hard to find something edible that would emulate it. You could use honey if you don't mind a throng of ants around every Post-It note you write. |

Pencil "lead" is graphite, which AFAIK is nontoxic. |
I don't know about ball-point pens, but all of the permanent markers I have say "nontoxic conforms to ASTM D-4236". |
What, they aren't already edible? *GULP* |

Anyone bought edible ink from Printing Images CtC,Inc. in Phillipines? |
This is a crook company, I bought some edible ink starter kits ,they sent me
it with inks which can
not be used because the food color "Amaranth" contained in it does not
aprroved by FDA.
Amaranth may cause tumor.
It even can not print the right color (print brown color when youwant a red
color). |
They don't let me return this stuff and give my money back! |
yep, another wonderful idea - could make glue smokeable and add to all the other paranoid health scares
- marketing - you may never have to leave your office

BIC Biro pen ink is edible - if it wasn't I would have died long ago. I don't think the government would let kids use pens if they were full of poison. |
I eat paper all the time, it would be nice if it tasted of strawberry. |
It's also good when you need to hide evidence--you can eat them and accuse your hunger instead. |
Excellent for eating your words. Like, "Workout, 6AM." |
Aside from having the glue be unsafe to eat, what about the ink? And wouldn't these things be dirty after sitting out all day and being touched? |
Actually, a lot of the particulate matter floating around is full of protien. |
Yeah, skin, hair, dust mites, bacteria, sebum. |
And they're nowhere near as dirty as the stuff in a salad bar, or on door handles, or keyboards. |
