Freeze a pizza in dry ice, and since dry ice causes [some] things to break when frozen, when the pizza is smashed after having been frozen, it would break apart to reveal those shining little bits of pizza chips that we all so desire. (make sure to let the pizza thaw before consumption).

Is this like when they dip the rose in the liquid nitrogen then shatter it on the table top into the shining little bits of rose chips we all so desire? |

or bits of shiny table top that we all so regret. |

freeze-dried pizza chunks ... I actually think I would like this. You wouldn't eat them cold, you'd eat them at room temperature. Freeze-dried food tends to be kind of crunchy in a good way. I love freeze-dried fruit for that very reason. |

I think there's a "let's freeze dry something else" m-f-d, but I'm not certain... |

I am seeing freezing, but I am not seeing drying. |

Yuk. pizza should be hot and fresh when eaten. |

I completely understand [Seoman] and produce a freeze-dried crossiant that hits you at high velocity and shatters into thousands of delicous pastry chips.
I'm assuming the pizza would be reheated, into bite sized completely random peices to enjoy. |

So much more fun than say, using a knife to cut up pizza, right, [Seoman]? |

Messy and probably would not taste very good (freezer burn). |

IIRC, the same people who used to make freeze-dried Ice Cream for astronauts tried this to very mediocre results. |
