Dog Ballet

Special collars signal dogs to accelerate, stop, turn right and left and do tricks in formation.

The collars give verbal commands via a speaker and tactile commands via vibrations. They are programmed to make the dogs run in various geometric formations and patterns. The stop, start, turn left, turn right commands are programmed in before hand and run in real time.

Tightly choreographed dog pack spectaculars could be staged with mind numbing accuracy not practicable with low tech bunches of trained dogs.

Picture the dog pack running onto the field, forming the logo for Pooch-Chew dog treats, then sitting up in unison and barking. They could spell out messages, create moving patterns, bark in unison etc.

home: pet is probably the wrong category but I need to get back to work here. (Note: Inspired by 2 fry's annotation)

Border collies would do this, and enjoy it - just get the collars to relay whistles.

You could do this in software for less.

If I were going to be attacked and mauled by a pack of killer dogs I would want to see them perform a synchronized dance first. +

       Well, at least it's not in other:general - what about Home:Pet:Collar or Culture:Dance:Notation ?

Oh, and the link is to a training aid.

Well, that's pretty scary. Clicked on this thinking "Hmm, dog ballet, what the hell is that?"

Yup. Guess my brain's decided "Eh, we've done enough thinking for one lifetime."

Time to start shopping for drool buckets.

Ease up on the liquor, doc. Makes it easier to get dressed in the morning too.

This is just Dog Dressage (see link)

Wish it were that easy, but I already don't drink.

I write these posts first thing in the morning or last thing at night so I'm usually half awake. Like now.

Dog chorus: train the dogs to bark on command issued by their collar, sort the dogs by pitch, and Bob's your grandmother.

doctor, I thought you knew, the contract for the bakery specifically says you must comment or post ideas when you are at the pinnacle of your life, the best part of your day, and most importantly, at work.

Hiding the bakery from the boss is half the fun...hahahaha, get it, "half the fun".

       Okay back to your whatever.

I'm just tripping on how I've forgotten this idea, not once, but twice. Saw it pop up and said "Who the hell came up with this?.. oh yea.".

You know, occurs to me you could create an actual Paw Patrol with this idea. Have the collars direct a pack of dog cops to patrol a certain area.

DId I already suggest that? I think I might have.

       See?
