For couch potatoes, accountants, hackers, or anyone with sedentary jobs who wants to get in a little physical exsertion without going to the gym, a stone turntable to put your condiments on. You have to muscle it to spin it or get up and walk around to the other side.

Just bringing it home from the store will be an experience in itself.

Good one. Or each person can have a pedal under their chair that will turn the Susan--sort of like a potter's wheel.

I love the name, by the way.

Bun for the name. But it's weird how a Lazy susan seems to do the work for you, whereas a diligent Susan does nothing, and you have to do the work.
phundug, Aug 20 2004

You could camouflage it and call it Desperately Seeking Susan.
Shutting up now.

Clearly you don't understand the psychology of the truly indolent, the27man. If something is not within arms' reach then it's too far away to be bothered with and clearly not important.

What the good [Dr] said, but bun anyway.

       DrBob? - what the feck...

Agree with DrBob...but I like the name, so (+)

       I'm still laughing about [2fries]'s anno...still laughing...still...nope, I don't think I'll ever stop.
Machiavelli, Aug 20 2004

Could the name be changed to "Susen"?
blissmiss, Aug 20 2004

I see all these mentions of buns but no +s. Anyway, I agree w/ bob. Would'nt work for me.

<random bizarre mental image> I'm imagining something like an extremely large, stonehenge-size Lazy Susan, with teams of sweating slaves wheeling it round so the druid on the other side can get at the bread rolls. </rbmi>

P.S. surely a stone turntable that doesn't really turn is just a stone?

Well, you know what Mr. Dylan said ...
