A simple contraption on which to mount your digital picture frame, such that the frame is, each time a new photograph is displain, rotated through 90 degrees and then back again, through the same circle segment when the next picture comes up. Simply tap in the number of photographs in your slideshow
to ensure that each picture, whether landscape or portrait, is shown in fullscreen and correct orientation once every second cycle, which will represent an increase in correct orientation fullscreen display of your pictures of up to 100%.

Sounds like watching clothes in a tumble dryer. While that has a certain fascination - no thanks! |

I think I get it - the effect would be like a Viewmaster or slide projector (sort of). It would need a mechanical-sounding ssssh-ta-click each time it moved. |

Why do you take so many pictures on edge? If looking at the world sideways bothers you so, grab a video camera until you cure yourself of the habit. |

very nice, and some day you'll tire of looking at all those photos of yourself and much to your mate's relief you will throw it out the window. |

v, neo: displain - something that is displayed, can be said to be displain. Can be further enmangled to form indisplinatic, which might describe the capability of a thing to have displayed something in the past. |

in- doesn't that make it negative, the inablilty...? |

How 'bout you buy two digital picture frames and put all the landscape pictures in one and all the portrait pictures in the other. |

//The idea changed from 45 degrees to 90 degrees...//
Yeah, it did. I realised, as I went to bed, that I had made a schoolboy error, thinking that 45 degrees was one quarter of a circle. I thought I'd be able to correct it in the morning before anyone noticed, forgetting (my second mistake) that it's sometimes daytime in other parts of the world when it's bedtime in mine. Still, the idea makes more sense now, si? |

Actually, it might work just fine if the "45" or "90" was replaced with a "random number of", so that the pictures are seen from a new and interesting angle each time they appear. |
|
|
Yes, it does make more sense, but I still don't understand part of it. Well, I might get it now, but I'm not completely sure. |

I hate those pictures that some people take that are at some weird angle, not horizontal or vertical. |

and just for you sir the add-on which calculates what the angle *should* be and makes minor (or major) adjustments. |
