Getting around on crutches is not too difficult once one gets the hang of it.

Taking something with you, however, is a different matter, since both your hands are busy.

An tray for crutches that one would affix to the side of a crutch at a 90 degree angle with assorted spaces for mixed goods, drinks, etc.

The tray rests on a gyroscopically controlled axle spring, such that as the crutches describe their motion, the tray maintains a flat appearance, parallel to the floor, so that no spillages occur.

Very good, and it gives me an idea.

flat to the floor just means projecting your problem in 2d, so the problem is not solved. your food and drink and anything else will shuffle right off your tray -- no more coffee. if you want to solve the problem, you have to buffer movement on all degrees of freedom. it isn't gyroscopes you need, it is the smoothing of all motion.

so what i'd recommend instead of affixing the tray to a crutch, affix it to the top of your head
