You know, there's a chance that a place like this could make a go of it. Depends on the demographics of the locale. College towns, for example. Anyway, + from me. |

Good idea, I frequently will have abowl of cereal whenever I want a snack. This would also mean that you wouldn't have to put up with those pathetic litte 'cereal bars' that kelloggs make. |

[UB] That sounds more like the Surreal Bar...
"Grande Skinny Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, extra banana chips for table five!" |
great cat litter in emergencies |
<snaps fingers> Garcon! I'll have a bowl of Coco Pops and Crunchy Nut Cornflakes mixed together, gold top milk and a silver spoon. <drools> |
sorry, coco pops are off, sir. I can recommend the cereal of the day which is all-bran. |
Get me the manager! I wish to register a complaint |
What complaint is that sir, constipation? |
"Barman, this is a bit of a seedy joint"
"Then don't smoke that spliff and eat your muesli at the same time sir"
...a man is found, slumped over his breakfast table, dead. he has drowned somehow in the lashings of milk which he had poured over the huge bowl of muesli in which his head is resting. the coroner concluded that he had been pulled in by a strong currant |
"Waiter, there is a cereal in my fly!" "Well, stop sowing your wild oats." |
I'm picturing a moloko bar. Real horrorshow. |

I just want to bump this up because I think it's such a great idea. And I want some creative, enterprising, business saavy person to see it and make it a reality! I mean, seriously, how much fun would this be for the cereal lover (and there a quite a few out there. go to www.emptybowl.com )? The possibilities are endless: Mix any of the many available cereals, add chocolate, strawberry, caramel, banana, soy, or plain milk, top with any combination of your favorite fruits, and even get special add-ins like flaxseed or wheat germ. If breakfast places like Waffle House, Omelet House, Pancake Pantry, Dunkin Donuts, and IHOP can make a go of it, I know a Cereal Shack or two could make some serious money. Especially in today's society in which people are always looking for the newest and trendiest experiences. |

I would totally go to a cereal bar. Imagine the sign out front: "No shirt, no shoes, service" |
