I no longer have the will to fight. There are two kittens and only one of me and my husband gave up long ago. In the words of a great poet: "Where the curtains hang, the cats shall climb. Lo, be they venetian blinds, silk, or cotton, the cats shall climb ever on up them."
So, help me-- Please!
I
need curtains that look wonderful in my living room but that also have little pockets designed to hold various cats. They should have tassels to bat at, and they should be made of some industrial strength material, that if not claw-proof is at least capable of making it through the week. They need to be anchored at the top with a super strong bracket so they don't come down... like last time...
The curtains should come in colors that look fab when paired with various cat-furs, so that the cats hanging and falling from the drapes becomes a part of the decor, sort of like a water feature, but... louder and less tranquil.

This might keep them off the curtains.

Don't give up hope. Those stories of cats
travelling hundreds of miles across open
country to find their owners are probably
just myths. |

excellent idea - lots of little laser lights dancing about all over them too. |

hope you're feeling better now! |

cat-coloured curtains - hee hee! |

hang shag carpet from the heavy-duty curtain rods... actually hang shag carpet vertically *anywhere*, that's where you'll find them. |

"If you build it, they will come." |

Chain-mail curtains. Durable, glittery, cat-battable... and at 4.5 pounds per square foot, the cat would not pull them down more than once. |

Unless these durable curtains are on a vertical treadmill, your next problem will be keeping cats off the ceiling. |

one of my former cellmates was a tabby who had the habit of jumping halfway up the wall, grabbing onto the lightswitch fixture and pulling himself up until it looked like he was crouched down, resting... on the wall. Did it just to screw with everybody's perceptions... worked. |
