Cats chase a series of laser dots that are moving in interesting patterns.

Viewed from above they could be directed to do a cat version of those water ballets from the old movies.

Like this only with cats. https://www.youtube...watch?v=FRqcZcrgPaU
And not in water obviously. [doctorremulac3, Apr 10 2018]

This is bizarre. https://www.youtube...watch?v=9bVJol3-XLo
I think an animated cat version of this would get 60 million views on Youtube. [doctorremulac3, Apr 10 2018]

Those might be bad for cats https://catingtonpo...not-what-you-think/

How powerful are the lasers ? To within, say, a kilowatt or so ?

You'd have to vet the cats for laser focus.

If all the cats could see all the dots, then you couldn't control which cat chased which dot.

Solutions might include polarised contact lenses.

A smart set of laser dot movements also might get a probabilistic cat wave ballet.

Just occurred to me, having a translucent floor with the lights underneath might be better so the cats don't block the beam's path.

//polarised contact lenses// with embedded outward radiating laser diodes.

A Cats ballet on ice. One for the B-ray.

Getting them into tutus will be a challenge
