Mass transit doesn't work well because nobody likes to wait at bus stops. So let's make it fun to go to the bus stop. Basically, the city pays clowns to entertain people at bus stops. To pay the clowns, I propose a two-fold strategy. Fold 1, the highest paid elected officials would take a 10% pay cut.
Fold 2, every bus would have food machines on board, and pinball.

I would love to vote for this..But... I would rather not wait-and-be-entertained. I want to be elsewhere. |

clowns up close and personal are very, very scary. I don't want them at my bus stop. lets have some culture and have an opera singer. |

I know some people are phobic about clowns but the ones I have met are so god-damn ordinary and boring and <yawn> unfunny and miserable that they destroy the fantasy created in childhood - that is the scary aspect. |
