Paleo diet people have recently brought bone broth into the forefront of trendy "health" foods. Bone broth benefits from LONG cooking and the same bones can be used for several extractions.

My device would be somewhere between a coffee maker and a water cooler. You load the back with bones as you get them and occasionally make sure the large tank is filled with water, and the adjustable device keeps the broth at just the right temperature to extract what you want from the bones.

Just imagine, being able to go to a tap at any time of day for hot delicious broth and also knowing that you are getting the most out of the food you purchase.

You know, this is not a bad halfbaked idea, me thinks. My husband is battling pneumonia right now, and a straight out keg of chicken broth would be more than handy. Bring it on. Boil those bones. I'd buy it, Especially as the weather gets colder. +

[4and20], those look fine for broth, but we are talking bones. Lots of bones. (I think.)

Is that like a marathon, for the local cat's home...

I thought this Idea has been known in the past as a "Mulligan stew"? OK, I recognize the device appears to be special, for making such a stew, but actually any big-enough pot could qualify for the job ---every time you take something from the pot, you also add something. Plus water to replace steaming loss.

Yes, but I think the idea here is to regulate temperature (a la slow cooker) and also to automatically maintain the water level (a la lavatory cistern). In fact, a combined slow cooker and cistern would probably do the job.
