Gretzky, perhaps the greatest hockey player of all time made the expression popular enough that it transcended hockey

With our AR equipped helmet visor, players see calculated puck trajectories, including the probability of other player redirection, and can skate there directly

Won't this hit the same problem as algorithms which predict financial markets? That is, when several players have it, it must keep second-guessing itself.

Don't players' brains already do this and already have that problem?
notexactly, Feb 09 2019

Yeah, but the problem is when their bodies don't keep up, and their brains end up getting bodychecked.

The visual of brains on skates is pretty amusing.

I seem to remember some deep learning processing crunching basketball plays to compare outcomes to top coach predictions.

Keep it simple and just ghost the algorithm's predicted plays. The interesting bit would be what players did with the computer's play and the variation between possession and defense.

Although, how the helmet's field of view infographic is drawn is going to paramount.

So, this is meant to tell you what the puck's going on?

Good for learners but teaching old dogs new bizarre computer tricks will always be difficult.
