Ambient Casino Sound Discs

Akin to those "sounds of nature" CDs, but replace nature with house of cards

I was playing poker in an internet cardroom yesterday, and after losing in a couple hours what had taken a few days to build up, I got frustrated and decidfed to sit out for a few hands. But then I just felt like going to bed altogether. I didn't exit the program, however.

While I was lying there, it was nice to hear the ruffle of the deck, the gentle plinking of the chips, and the occasional rapping of the table. The sounds created a soothing atmosphere.

I'm proposing that compact discs containing sounds of the casino be sold along those compact discs that contain the sounds of waterfalls and small birds and the like.

I would be flabbergasted to the point of rectal prolapse if there were not already sound effects recordings available with these noises on them.

calum is right. I have several versions here in my studio, and they're quite easy to find on the web as mp3. I'll try to find you a link in a bit.

Fishrat is right. A quick googling reveals my rectal integrity is not in danger.

Do those sfx CD's casino ambience tracks run long enough or do they need editing, mix and re-mastering to fulfill what this idea appears to propose?

The nature sounds CDs Cuit_au_Four refers to as models for his idea are long single cuts, right?

Mine lasts just over three minutes <awaits obvious comments>
