I tried to listen to a cancer-related podcast interviewing a Japanese researcher and could not understand a word of his accent. Accent is hard for one nationality to adapt for another, but there is certainly a pattern behind any one nation's scrambling the sounds of English. Some translate program should smooth out the audio into discernible English.

Unfortunately, I Google with a strange accent, since I don't tend to use Google anymore.

Luckily for me I don't have an accent. People from other places seem to often have them though

Keep reading this as Ancient Scrubber, which has a totally different and very rude meaning.
