I agree, I do not think it will hold but it is a good start. Maybe some kind of super ziplock but I am afraid it will be annoying also. Taking the above idea with zippers what about something simple like adding extra cushion between zippers and the knee area. |

I think ziploc zippers on the knees would be equally uncomfortable. Just move them up so theyre an inch above the knee. |

And would still leave a large ridge for your knee to hit. I've slashed my knee open in many a paintball tourney because of the bulky metal zipper. I'm with [blissy] on this one - hook-and-loop. I'm not sure if you've been exposed to knee sliders and hook-and-loop patches for motorcycle racing applications on leathers, but I need a sturdy screwdriver to PRY mine off ... |
