I thought this was going to be Virtual Hula for the... Wii Suit

Not necessarily- you could spin until the light in the front was lit....
lostboy, Nov 16 2007

Then you need a bezel. Rather leave it at the virtual hula hoop, and bring back eighties disco.
4whom, Nov 16 2007

You would not need a bezel if you simply moved light to light maintaining direction...

       Disco Stu would be proud...

I am a fan of this idea. You know... for the dance floor, just not of the alternative application. Eliminate the digital compass and you will score buns and a possible brevity award.

Now, for after the club fun, you could use the photoelectric effect to use the LEDs as sensors and detect where people were around you (should they invade your personal space)- Pager motors under each LED to provide direct feedback to the wearer :)

       Great idea [+]

Or you could just stick a Wii down your trousers and wait for someone to develop the appropriate software.

[zen_tom], please, don't take a Wii in your trousers.

Wii sports has a whole new meaning now...And thank goodness they didn't spell it "wee sports"-
lostboy, Nov 16 2007

Zen_tom, lostboy may find Wii his orientation might be skewed.

This would have been a great implementation in "Mystery Men".
