Why don't heroes of adventure/mystery/intrigue stories just target the villain's barber? Instead of sneaking into his mansion or complying with his circuitous plans, just target/kidnap his barber/hairdresser and he will be left without His moustache - think about it, he will either be left with a cheap bic razor and look babyfaced, grow a shabby and tramplike beard, or be forced to grow stubble and by sheer force of style he will join the rugged hero/es.

You think super villains aren't paranoid about about their barbers?

All the best one's shave their own heads.
