There are some subtleties, as the net result may be
to have the lint travel back and forth between the
cleaner and the cleaned item, delivering charge. But
that might be nice, too. |

This is pretty much baked by negative ion generators, which act as a fairly inefficient but rather cool dust precipitators. |

they're inefficient, and most importantly, they have
no visible sparks. |

another thing that might work is a piezoelectric lint roller; just have a ratchet on the rotating part with piezo units on the gear and zap, electric charge on the roller. |
