It would be good if we can add an extra data section after
the audio portion of MP3, which would contain extra time
synced media.
Specifically stuff like extra snippets of text, images (Which
would take the spot of song cover), or URL links, all
synchronised to a podcast/song.
Pros: Convenient
way for podcast listener to follow a link
that a talker is mentioning in a podcast. A gallery of
images could update for a song, but doesn't take the same
amount of space as a real video.
Cons: Another avenue for podcast to sneak sponsor ads.

Linking video with audio? Naaah. No one will want to watch
that. |

more like displaying urls for a audio podcast during specific

Forgive my snark. What I'm trying to say is I don't see the
difference between this and the many thrice baked
protocols that exist to push video, text, metadata, and
arbitrary data in timed intervals with an audio stream. |
