Skatecasting is an innovative service for news delivery. It
begins with
the training of a broadcaster to wear a single skate on their
head and to learn how to skate around upside down, their
arms outstretched for balance. A small ink delivery system
allows the resulting line made in the ice
to take on either a
red or black appearance for clarity. As the latest reports of
global events are relayed to our skatecaster, they are filmed
gliding around the rink, forming a string of scripted words
behind them, as they make the latest head line news.

Invention? Or just a pun? |

I'm bunning this for the invention within a semi-invention of the ice-skate with an ink delivery system. |

Corduroy pillows: They're making

Two points:
1) That BMW advert where the car skids around painting pictures with its 'ink delivery system'
and
2) When ancient civilisations depicted unpleasantness (war, famine etc) i.e. multiple deaths - it was often by way of upside down people - I wonder if there remains any cultural resonance here - but would prefer good news delivered right side up please. |

//That BMW advert where the car skids around painting pictures with its 'ink delivery system'// I've seen that advert, but it's recent, and I put this up four years ago. |

Interesting about the upside down people linked to bad news... certainly didn't realise that. |

Oh I was just wondering whether the ad-guys read the HB - I'm sure Dave Gorman does. |
