Sometimes, my parents try and breed their dogs, but they are half-assed about it, and usually make the attempted with whomever is forward enough to breach the subject. I imagine this is the case with most dog owners, which might be why some breeds are so inbred.

It might be good if there were a dating site where you could sell up the benefits of your dogs, while sully exploring the dogs mating options. As a benefit this might also lead to some freaky looking crossbreeds!

I think this is pretty well baked. http://www.breeders.net/

I was wondering where I might market my supply of inflatable legs... Just the ticket for nerdy dogs that can't even get a date at a site like this. [+]

grammar:// my parents try *to* breed their dogs//
xandram, Sep 15 2011

Actually, if the breeding was successfully carried out the sentence is grammatically correct, if not specific enough to convey useful information. His parents both try (to do something) and successfully breed their dogs.

The dogs, or the owners ? It's important to be clear about this.

... with some serious and tragic health problems. Not at all funny, particularly for the dog.

Humans engineered Canis Domesticus by selective breeding, and in the process assumed total responsibility for their health and wellbeing. Dogs are intelligent and perceptive companions, capable of reasoning, and are deserving of dignity and respect.

So, poor sales on the inflatable legs, then?
Grogster, Sep 15 2011

[8] What's a dog's conception of dignity? And how do you, as (I assume) a non-dog, infer it? (Not particularly concerned with arguing the skeptical point of view here; more interested in hearing the alternative one.)

Yes, what [8th] said. Would pimpmybitch.com be a better or worse title for this idea?
hippo, Sep 16 2011

       Yes.

Most are. Pugs are ridiculous, and Cocker Spaniels are just f#€%ing assholes.
