Cracker place inside a plastic package that amplifies the crackle when the cracker is crushed on purpose.

The wrapper is made from the same noisy plastic that sun chip packages used to be made of.

Intentionally crushing the cracker makes it really sound like you have a bad phone connection when you need it most.

       I found a brown paper bag is best for this, and if needed, make a small bag out of mylar film, it completely block the signal, even the GPS bit, so you can go right off the network.
