As to [po]'s link... Why would such a nice organization have such a creepy logo?

you might be right - perhaps we could design a new one for them.

I'm laughing because just yesterday I asked if there was a Pet Salvation Army, as we bought our cats this *thing* that they won't go near and I want to get rid of it. (actually my s/o bought it, as I also thought it wasn't something I would like if I was a cat. It's a leopard covered, soft sided cylinder, but sounds like plastic bags inside of it.) I don't want to throw it away because it's brand new. If there is a pet out there wishing for it, I'll gladly send it!!

[xandram], that is so funny. I have a closet full of throw aways that claire and her buddies have "never touched toys", such as yours. Always end up pitching them at some point. If we could recycle them that would be great.

Just empty out the balls/nip/bell, and put them in new containers? ;-) ( and I just cast my + vote for this idea, as I am sure that the author is meaning well.)

I've got one of those crinkly tubes somewhere and fluffy hates it. perhaps it appeals to kittens.

I think it appeals to people who think their cats will play with anything!! hehe. I have bought several expensive toys for my cats and they just look at me like I'm crazy! My 2 yr. old kitty plays with the cheap little mice that come in a pack of 12 for $3. OK [bliss] I'll give the guy a bun for nice thoughts...

Let us know when you work out how to do the bit where you figure out the wishes of pets.
tatterdemalion, Jan 05 2010

Your dying pets want a quick and painless death. I can oblige these needs for a small stipend (capable of covering travel expenses and one 12-gauge shotgun shell).

Don't worry. I am heartless enough to pull the trigger as you cancer afflicted puppy stares up at me with trusting and tentative eyes.
