Self Adhesive Wall Paper on a roll - (not a border)

After spending a fortune on some' famous' brand rolls of paper + more money on paste, a bucket, a brush, ruining a perfectly good table and wasting most of the roll due to 'matching' the so-called pattern, (who has walls 20ft deep?) plus the end result resembles ageing lining paper - but that's another problem. I just thought it would be great to have self adhesive wall paper - might cost a little extra, but given the options I think it's worth it. Sorry if it's been done before - I did do a search, really.

Annotation:

you can get wallpaper now, that requires you to paste the wall instead of the paper which I think is a brilliant idea. then there was the ready pasted stuff that you dipped through a water trough. the only problem I can see with the self adhesive option, is that it probably will not allow much leeway for adjustment once on the wall. croissant for your nerves however.

       Baked.

(The whole *point* of wallpaper is that you get to spend a fortune. Otherwise you'd just paint the walls another coat of whitewash.)
