A genre of oobleck art where the goal is to make shapes that can be repeated. If a shape is repeated three times then the sculpture is considered a oobrick. A shape would be defined by oobleck recipe, speaker(s) orientation, size, power and waveforms used.

The would be three classes. Amateur: single speaker, Contest: no more than three speakers and Open: unlimited speakers, wave guides and unique container shapes (open motto: who says randomness can't be engineered)

Three images with specs are needed to define an oobrick sculpture but probably the video of the shaping would be just as beautiful.

       The idea was not about tessellation. Complexity can come from the relationships between simple differences. I was was trying to capture facets of a dynamic system that may be a stepping stone to new thoughts or technology. Though, I do see your point about a brick being the poster object for tessellation. Yes, the title could have been better.

       I have been imagining a blunt pressure wave that tessellates the molecules of the oobleck to cause interlocking (thanks bigsleep). This is the simple case - squeeze it and it locks up.   

       What about very complex pressure waveforms? There would be volumes that lock and volumes that loosen. There might be higher pressure patterns that loosen and lower ones that solidify.   

       I wonder if there are fundamental waveforms that directly relate to the molecular make up of the oobleck - prime dance rhythms of oobleck.
