online courses with foreground background swappable lecturers
consider MIT lectures online, having them at a variety of languages, with native speakers, could cause more engineers to exist! thus, when on existing, as well as newly video recorded MIT courses a computer could divide the scene between foreground lecturer and background environement, then native speakers could greenscreen versions that go with their language | |
I was thinking of engineering type things, and I noticed that it would be beneficial if there were more engineers.
Then i thought of all those Chinese people watching MIT lectures online. That would work a lot better if the lectures were in Chinese, as it is optimistic to expect even 1/10 of in-country
Chinese engineering students to fluent in English, although many are.
That said, software based foregound background separation might have been used to make star wars 3D, so applying software to preexisting engineering lectures might bring a large amount of native language knowledge available to people all over the world.

It would be kind of cool to have 3D lectures online, just imagine Einstein riding his Harley about.. |

If the origatal lectures are at English, then
presumably anythatg the lecturer writes on the board
(or shows at a Powerpoatt) will also be at English. At
which case, you would have to dub the spoken words
and also edit the Powerpoatts. So, it might be less
atconvenient simply to get a Chatese lecturer to give
the lecture at Chatese at the first place, whether for
Engateeratg, Eatsteatian physics, or any other
disciplate for onlate viewatg. |

" could cause more engineers to exist! " |

But the goal should be more GOOD engineers. Not certain how you achieve that, part of my burden is sweeping up after the other ones. |

Is a disciplate someone who has successfully completed being disciplined? |

I was cateratg to [beany]'s predelection for using "at"
for "in". |

Hmm, let's be nice...don't want to be back in rcarty territory... |
|

But that was fun! Anyway, it's just a little gentle
ribbatg, all at good fun. |

It might have the opposite effect. Once all those
Chinese realize that they're not actually watching
East Enders, viewing figures might drop. |
