A thin pillow filled with chemicals that absorb heat when shaken. Wrap it around a couple of beer or a bottle of wine and stick it in your backpack when you go hiking. By the time you're ready for your break your beverage (or other treat) should be pleasantly chilled. There should be a 'switch' to prevent freezing when inapporopriate, of course.
