In theory the Google 'Goggles' app should do this. However,
I did a quick test with random things around my house with
URLs printed on them and it didn't work as well as
expected. The 'Goggles' app would be distracted with the
other printed information (e.g. address, phone number)
and wouldn't go directly to the URL without a bit of
coaxing. |

I note on the google goggles wiki "For example, taking a picture of a famous landmark would search for information about it, or taking a picture of a product's barcode.." |

Doesn't that mean that, for example, the grand canyon can be replaced with a barcode, so saving the federal government the cost of actually keeping open the real grand canyon? |
