I was thinking of a game in which you are a horror movie monster/villian (ex: Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Leatherface) and you completely customize the way he/she looks (ex: hat, mask, clothes, body and face structures, face color) and their "powers" (ex: flying, with or without wings, entering dreams,
mind control, teleportation, invisibility, sucking life from them while they sleep) and weapons (ex: hookhand, claws, chainsaw, machete, meat cleaver) and you get rated by how much fear you cause, you can do whatever it takes, and the more fear you cause the town the stronger you become. There can be different classes, like, Psychopath, where you have no special powers you're just a crazed serial killer. And there can be instant replays you can save for extra horrifying moments. The landscape should be almost completely free roam. I just had this idea when I went to Blockbuster and started walking around the horror section. I think this game would be a big success in the right hands, because this is the kind of thing everyone would love to be able to do. Customization is a key so that you can make your own horror movie masterpiece. Please tell me if my idea sucks or not.

City of Horrors. Sort of a cross between the Film Director mode in Driv3r and the CoH expansion City of Villains. Could be interesting. |
