Have you ever been watching a tv show and wondered where that awesome table came from? Or who made that hot shirt that [insert fav celeb here] was wearing? What about a site that tracks these items? Producing companies can add this info or people to contribute if they know a particular detail.

Exactly what b1ng0 was asking for except that they don't have a big range of shows for which they offer stuff - Sadly you've missed your chance to buy Donna's wedding dress from the final episode of Bevery Hills 90210 [hippo, Jun 19 2000, last modified Oct 04 2004]

Little keychain thingie that takes a downloadable time-stamp everytime you click it. currently this timestamp is used to tell you what song or commercial was playing at the time on a given radio station (one per market in specific cities), but they want to expand it all over the place.        Didn't they try this with the CueCat? My understanding is that they lost somewhere in the neighborhood of $140,000,000.00 and that hackers cracked the code almost immediately. They gave the CueCats away free, even thought they cost about $10.00 each to produce.

The CueCat would read a special barcode off printed pages or even the televison and take you directly to the website of the manufacturer. you can still buy them on Ebay for around $3.00. You can download software and have a very inexpensive barcode reader.
