OK people here is how it works. You go and buy the "lawn-o-matic". All you have to do is push buttons. You can make your lawn grow, you can mow your lawn, you can even make flowers grow. All with the simple click of a little hand held remote control. And the best part is that you dont ever have to worry about the hassle of pulling weeds and your lawn stays green the whole winter through. You could have the best looking lawn on the block.( comes complete with remote, insturctions, and artificial lawn.)

He does say there's an artificial lawn involved, so I guess making it lengthen or shorten itself should be possible, like those dolls who you can alter their hair length by pumping their arms up and down. It's still a little vague though.

soft astro turf, with an inbuilt heater. so that you can lie out on marginal days & not have to shift the snow in the winter. you could even have it automatically lengthen the grass on wet days, so that more water droplets are held & look all nice & shiny. (living in London you have to at least part romantacise rain).

Hey, how some electric flowers? I definately prefer awesome flowerbeds to a perfectly manicured lawn.
