why does the body of christ have to taste so bland?

Jesus once said something to the effect of: eat this bland cracker, as it is my body. But what if the body of christ was chocolate-covered, or had chocolate chips, or powdered sugar? What if it was fruit-filled, or peanutbutter flavored. It would raise interest in religion, and it would probabaly go better with the wine, especially if the served cheese also.
