Have ever gone hiking? It's really fun. But that well-structured backpack is always full of stuff, weighting more than 80 pounds for any serious traveller.
Your backpack lacks some wheels for places where it's not that convenient to carry all that weight.
Just forget trying the backpack on... your
wheels adapted in the bottom help you this time.

A well-made backpack shouldn't be much of a problem, if you pack it sensibly. It should come with adjustable straps which distribute the weight properly. |

Having said that, I prefer to *drive* to a campsite, unpack lots of modern conveniences and drink beer outdoors. |

Is someone missing the point? The 'wheeled' versiona have tiny wheels like other luggage which are good for dragging it through an airport. Once in the great outdoors, these wheels won't work, and are just extra weight.
I think we need a larger wheel on a longish leg to take most of the weight. A single on might do.. |
