This watch (digital, shirley) goes blank between hours you select during the setting process.

This way, when someone says, "you need to be there at 5:00 AM" you can rightfully say that according to your watch, there IS no 5:00 AM.

When you arrive "on time" (by virtue of the other clocks in your home or car, probably), you can prove it.

If you want a film, [marklar], here's the closest http://www.imdb.com...le/tt0110588/quotes
... but I don't think they managed to work that one-liner into it. [pertinax, Jan 24 2008]

"Holy crap, I never knew there were two 5 'o clocks"

I can't remember the film or the exact quote.

It was Dorothy Parker, [marklar], way back when people were sometimes unscriptedly witty in real life... and I think it was *eight* o' clock.

       Mmm... Dorothy Parker...

       Wasn't she the mother of Lady Penelope's Butler/Chauffeur ?

I read that as: //Wasn't she the mother of Lady Penelope's Butter Chafer?//
