I know, I know, you're going to say that Twitter, Facebook, or even the occasional HB annotation area can service this purpose.

But so often you really feel like the need to have an argument with someone. This need has been channeled into various forms of social media, with apparently detrimental effect on our society.

This chatbot will let you vent with appropriate mix of supportive/derisive comments to maintain your level of adrenaline, without having to share that in reality with anyone else, affecting your future job prospects and the like.

More or less detrimental than killing and dismembering your opponent, eating their internal organs, and laying waste the land where they used to live ?

Can't speak to that directly, but it appears that the level of generated outrage goes to the top of the scale pretty quickly.

       "Oh no it doesn't ... "

Uh oh. Sounds like someone had a tiff with a female someone. Uh oh.

I always thought that "slut" was an onomatopoeia from the sound of the vagina of a woman who had just had sex with another man. I'm not sure it's positively correlated with ignorance.

Perhaps we could improve the language by introducing an onomatopoeia from, say, the sound of a face-palm, which might fit the context better.

At some point, this may be the difference between loading an AR-15 and a deep consoling cry.

Hopefully, the chatbot can deescalate the thoughts but if not, inform of a problem.

not at all! [blissmis] -- a quote from SNL (Akroyd and Curtain), sheesh

A consoling cry is transient, but a full clip from an AR-15 is forever ...

Sorry, [their]. It's been a while since I heard reference to that show unless it was a Trump joke. Again, sorry for the assumption.

<obligatory Monty Python quote>"Is this the right room for an argument?"

//without// //affecting your future job prospects and the like//

Or (& I know this is a crazy idea that nobody is likely to have ever seriously contemplated before) just create a social media account with a made up name & use that when you feel the need for a little cathartic venting?

Better yet, don't use a made up name, use the name of someone you really don't like & really let rip.

Baked and WKTE - [xenzag] apparently uses the handle "Donald Trump" ...
