Imagine attending funerals, state dinners, and other stultifying occasions---and being able to watch The Game whilst pretending to pay attention. (You'd have to remember not to react loudly to good plays, though.)

I'm not sure what the input method would be, or how you'd hear the audio. Brainwaves? Well, by then the Net will be so advanced that it probably won't be interested in interacting with us anyway.
