       We need wireless fiber. Those Brillo-based bran muffins are hard on the teeth.   

       With Wi-fiber, could my SAN be a bunch of disk drives jumbled together in a cardboard box under my desk? I suppose they still need a power supply....

       You'd need to use a pretty high frequency in order to provide adequate bandwidth. As a side effect, you could heat up your lunch by simply placing it in front of the antenna and starting a large file transfer.
