Whose Shoe?

Shoe-ology.

Everyone who wants to play sends in a picture of their shoe to Jutta.

Jutta cunningly replaces the halfbakery logo with a picture of one of the shoes, at scarce and random intervals, and we all have one week to guess "Who's Shoe?"

I bet you can tell a lot about a person from their shoes.

(?) Who's Shoe? http://moniplex.com.../pix/pe5d0bacb0.jpg
Or more to the point, whose sock? (Long time readers should know the answer.) (For the others, no, it's not mine.) [DrCurry, Oct 04 2004, last modified Oct 05 2004]

how about put up their ugly mug shot and then guess who it is. Would make the site a little more personal

I think most people prefer not to, although you should check ideas like "halfbakers ball". I think I'd prefer to see waug's shoe, or po's face, but if UnaBubba shows me his ass one more time I swear I'll apply for a restraining order.
Fishrat, Dec 19 2003

how about a name association game...

jutta - picture of a VW jetta
letsbuildafort - a snow fort
skinflaps - an old guy
squeak - a mouse
po - a toilet? <G> or a police officer? (better?) :)
angry_scientist - a man in a lab coat.
UnaBubba - pic of David Kaczynski?
v0rtexx - a tornado
Fishrat - Do I have to even say?
FarmerJohn - FarmHouse, or a clock perhaps?
etc..
v0rtexx, Dec 19 2003

If [po] doesn't shout "list alert" before she notices what you've called her, she will afterwards!
Fishrat, Dec 19 2003

Since the departure of lewisgirl, not many bakers are known for their footwear, but I would guess:

       UnaBubba: thongs/flip-flops
po: ruby slippers
Fishrat: fins
angry_scientist: falling-apart old sneakers
skinflaps: Disco Boots
sloopjohnb37: very old deck shoes
Rods Tiger: Hush Puppies
Guy Fox: walking boots
mr thingy: clown shoes
FarmerJohn: gumboots/wellies
jutta: some very sensible lace-ups

d) A zip-up, tartan, fleece-lined bootee

       Q 2: If I were a hat, I would be.....

       a) A wildly imaginative designer chapeu
b) A stained baseball cap
c) A beanie with helicopter blades
d) A fez

       etc.

kropotkin - What was your nic before lewisgirl (she was part and parcel of the 'bakery) quite unfortunately split?
Less, er, more, er, less, er more is less importantly... what shoes do I wear?
thumbwax, Dec 19 2003

Its only a matter of time before somebody posts "whose pants?" now isnt' it? And I don't mean US trousers, I mean UK underpants.
dobtabulous, Dec 19 2003

Great, now you have me taking off my underpants for pictures.
Letsbuildafort, Dec 19 2003

The concept of a bunch of used shoes posted on the HB does not sound all that appealing to me. Dr. Sholl's would approve perhaps.
k_sra, Dec 19 2003

On the basis of the evidence, I would have to agree with you.
