I tried reading the idea. I sounded like Ken Bruce would, had he spent some of his formative years in Newcastle.

I read some of the Grimm fairytales recently and some of them took about twice as long to read because of the dialects. [+]

[david], a Glaswegian in Newcastle sounding like he's from Edinburgh isn't far off, at least geographically speaking. You can draw a nice arc through the three of them with Embra in the middle.

Taped to a shredder in an office in Embra this week, I saw the following typed note:

       "Dinnae empty the shreader."

Yes indeed old bean. Having spent time in residence with some of our northern cousins a number of years ago, I was most alarmed to discover how easily Mr Leopard caused me to lapse back into the vernacular. I had thought that I was cured of this affliction but now I shall have to make an appointment with my therapist.

Apologies for any harm done [DrBob], and thank you for indirectly advocating the necessity of this product; vis a vis to ensure distinguished English gentlemen remain free of vernacular mishaps.
