Actually, are there any laws pertaining to live web casts of small venue shows.
I thought by now with speeds we would see more of this.
But then again the singularity already happnd.

For original material, the rights holder is the one to talk to (ie: the band); for covers (eg: the band sings "Yesterday" by the Beatles) there's several organizations which collect royalties from venues and distribute them to the rights-holders. |

They'd be the ones to talk to, and yes they handle royalty distribution for webcasts as well. |
