Watermelons. They are yummy. Usually. Some watermelons are somewhat devoid of that watermelony goodness, probably because they have been bred for easy growing and shipping. But the texture is there. And many are now seedless!

I propose a stand where slices of cold wet watermelon are drizzled with fruity syrups and sold to passerby. They could be sprinkled with shaved coconut flesh, itself soaked in unnaturally colored flavors.

Inspiration! Pinermelon

Given the high water content that watermelon already exhibits, and low porocity, the syrups would likely drip over the surface and down your hand, rather than seeping into ice, as the case is with the snowcone.

What if I want the watermelon, but would prefer not to have flavored coconut sprinkled on me?

It's desirable to increase the surface area of the tasteless watermelon material by freezing then shredding it.

I am sorry ytk, but the watermelon costs double if you forgo the sprinking.

/Freezing / shredding/ I think better would be to have a spike paddle, which is pushed into the watermelon immediately before the drizzling. It would also be an opportunity for BUNGCO to move some of these spike paddles which have been taking up warehouse space.

Can I just get the url for the website where I watch women eat these things?

Google image shows that images of ladies eating watermelon are suprisingly popular. I spent plenty of time perusing them, for research purposes. A fair number of kids too, one lemur and one cat.

There is a dearth of dudes over age 8 eating watermelon. Maybe there is unmet demand for that.

Sure, why not? Watermelony goodness multiplied by drizzled temp-tasty triple sugary awesomeness? Surprised nobody's ever done this.

       Drizzle schmizzle. Inject them.

Syrup infused! Throw them in a syrup bath and throw a vacuum pump on the suckers. Air gets sucked out, syrup gets sucked in.

What better way to say "Take that Mother Nature! Who's the master of delicious fruit treats now?"

Anybody ever deep fried a watermelon? Not sure what kind of batter you'd use.
