WPA display
Router with WAP/WPA passkey displayed on the box | |
How about a router that has a LCD or just a printed label on the top of the box with the WEP/WPA passkey printed on it. Included software for the wireless devices would make it super easy for grandma to have a secure network.

Writing your password down. That's the idea? |

"Writing your password down. That's the idea?" |

Yes. In a single person or family home, it should work pretty well, unless they use those high powerd scopes, assuming the router is near the window. But the point is the router would come preconfigured with this, the passkey already printed on the router. |

Just not very original, I'm afraid. |

i think your too critical
i think we should vote on the lcd display idea, not the label, since the label thing is just daft. |
