Voting Reason

Why are you voting, and for this person?
  (+4, -1)
(+4, -1)
  [vote for,
against]

Allow people to record a short sentence describing briefly why they voted for who they did.

Hey, it'd be interesting.

Additional: This could actually be used as a sort of makeshift democracy. Referendums inconvenience people, but if so many people voted for X because he plans Y, then that could be used to decide what gets funded more.

I think [Snuffkin] means real voting, not HB voting.

I like the idea of being "infurriated". Sounds cosy.

I like the idea that you can find out why people vote a certain way. I would suggest a multiple choice list of reasons which could be ticked :- My friend told me; I don't know; I always vote this way; They looked the most pleasant on telly...

At least the answers might help us sort out the problems with our current voting systems

A keyboard+screen at the exit of a polling booth might count. And probably be a lot more cheaper as well!

       — VaquitaTim , might be easier for people to type hashtags instead of multiple choices.

I think we should move voting day to July 4th, or perhaps free slurpy day.
