Non-electric perfect beard trimmer

So there's electric beard trimmer with the fancy moving blades, and all of their different stand-off's. There are even manual hair trimmers that do the same thing, by moving a blade about by squeezing action.
I propose a small piece of metal or even plastic, which houses a razor blade, upon which the standard comb/guard/standoff's for the above mentioned types of trimmers can be placed. You move the trimmer through your beard, or hair even, and it gets cut to the perfect length. With removable handle. Would take standard double edge blades.
